Nakahara Nyan Ken is a prototyping project co-created by Fujitsu Design Center’s team Inspi-Lab and Konel. Its aim is to reinterpret Fujitsu’s advanced technologies from entirely new perspectives and create fresh points of connection between technology and society. Using the motif of cats as a medium, the project explores the future of technology with flexibility and imagination, transforming ideas into unique and approachable experiences. Konel is responsible for planning and developing experiential prototypes, while also utilizing its own media platform, Chizai Zukan, to share the project’s outcomes widely with society. Based in Musashi-Nakahara, Kanagawa Prefecture, where the Fujitsu Design Center is located, Nakahara Nyan Ken is an experimental research team that fuses diverse expertise and creativity to explore new relationships between emerging technologies and everyday life.

"SF Kyogen 'Mono no Aware'" was held at the EXPO Hall "Shine Hat" as an official collaborative event of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. The production sought to create new forms of expression rooted in tradition by bridging the fields of art, performing arts, fashion, design, music, and gaming. Konel was responsible for the real-time visual direction using projection mapping within the venue.

IDEA ARENA (Sàn Đấu Ý Tưởng in Vietnamese) is a voting-based idea battle designed to address Vietnam’s social challenges with a positive approach. Two teams, led by key opinion leaders (KOLs), presented innovative solutions to social issues, and citizens participated by voting for their favorite concepts. Voting took place over four weeks in Ho Chi Minh City through voting booths at AEON malls, a dedicated website, and Facebook. The campaign garnered over 30,000 votes and even attracted collaboration inquiries from local businesses. Organized by the Vietnam-based Aureole Group (parent company: Mitani Sangyo), this initiative was part of a national campaign and also recognized as a commemorative project for the 50th anniversary of Japan-Vietnam diplomatic relations.

We developed a prototype for Log Flower, a digital plant that thrives on the emotional atmosphere of a space. As a development partner in GG—a project exploring near-future ideas—we helped bring this concept to life.

SAKURA FES NIHONBASHI is a signature spring event that brings vibrancy and unity to the city. For the event's 10th anniversary in 2023, Konel led the creative direction, producing the "Sakura Noren" installation—a space designed to reflect Nihonbashi’s presence and encourage relaxed social interaction. More than just an artwork, it served as a bridge between people and the city, demonstrating new possibilities for urban engagement.

Under a project by Crunchyroll, a global leader in anime culture, an interview series was produced to help viewers enjoy anime on a deeper level by featuring Japanese artists involved in anime theme songs.

Green Signal is a time-based display that shows the amount of CO₂ reduction generated through individual reuse actions, such as swapping or purchasing secondhand items. At the Mercari Green Friday Project 2025: Reuse Fashion Park, clothing reused by visitors is transformed digitally into “threads.” The colors and materials of those garments become visual strands that weave together to form the passing time.

The Tariki Research Institute was established as an open innovation hub dedicated to measuring and harvesting "Tariki"—a mysterious, invisible power—and exploring ways to utilize it. The institute conducts research into the true nature of Tariki and methods for applying it to modern industry.
